Surf trip – Morocco

Friday/Saturday, Feb 20/21: After an overnight flight from the US, a driver will transfer you from the airport to the hotel.

Our journey begins in the heart of Marrakech, a city pulsing with color, culture, and centuries of history. You’ll wander through lively souks, and savor traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Our luxury boutique hotel is located in the royal quarter of the Medina, known as the ‘Kasbah’, and within easy walking distance of the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, and other renowned landmarks in the city.

Sunday, Feb 22: Marrakech is known for its bustling souks, located right in the heart of the city’s Medina, in The Jemaa el -Fnaa Square. Expect to find everything from entertaining musicians and street performers to an abundance of colourful food stalls piled high with sweet treats and favorite local dishes, like tagines and kebabs.

Monday, Feb 23: After a sensory overload of the Red City, we’ll head west to Taghazout, Morocco’s laid-back surf capital. Taghazout offers world-class breaks, golden beaches, and a chill vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. Pack your board (or rent one there) and get ready for an unforgettable blend of surf, culture, and coastal beauty.

Nestled a barefoot stroll from Taghazout’s prime surf breaks, our hotel strikes an ideal balance between boutique luxury and surfer chic.

Tuesday, Feb 24- Friday, Feb 27: Taghazout attracts surfers from all over the world thanks to its perfect position along the Moroccan Atlantic coast and it’s frequent surfing conditions, boasting the best waves of northern Africa.

Each day, a local expert will be your personal surf guide dedicated to helping you get the best waves for your level, at the best breaks.

During the winter months ( October – March) Morocco’s world class point breaks come to life. Leg-aching long rides are an everyday occurrence.

Saturday, Feb 28: A driver will take us back to Marrakech where we first started for our last evening together.

Sunday, March 1: Departure flights back to the US today.
