Day 1: Welcome to Cardiff. You will be greeted and driven to the hotel. The accommodations for the next few evenings is just over an hour away. Tucked away in the Brecon countryside and surrounded by the rolling hills of the Black Mountains.

Since 1885, the 23-bedroom hotel has offered visitors solitude, fishing and afternoon tea. Enjoy delicious meals with locally superb meats, fish, cheeses and organic fruit and vegetables for the seasonally changing lunch and dinner menus. Be sure to try the Yorkshire pudding.

Day 2 & 3: Wake up refreshed and ready for the day. Over the next two days, explore the hotel, stroll the grounds which consist of 33 acres. Rent the hotel’s electric bikes and sign up with a fishing guide for some of the best game fishing in the UK (inquire for guide cost).

A driver will take you to a unique local bookstore town, home to over twenty bookstores.

A private guide will take you through Brecon Beacon. Drive scenic roads, visit castles, country houses and have a picnic lunch before returning to the hotel for afternoon tea.

Day 4: Today say good bye to one beautiful place and prepare for an all new kind of beauty. Standing at 3650 feet is Mt Snowdon. Transfer from the hotel to the airport by private driver for a 50 minute flight across Wales. Accommodations for the next three evenings are at a mid- seventeenth century country house.

Dining here is more of an experience than just a meal. Arrive early for a pre-dinner drink and nibbles, browse the country house style menu then relax in the drawing room with coffee and homemade chocolates after dinner.

Day 5 & 6: The next two days will be spent exploring the area and it’s extraordinary natural beauty. A personal driver/ tour guide will be your escort to surrounding castles and sights.

A highlight will be taking the Welsh train to sightsee Snowdonia. The train station is only a short walk from the house.

Day 7: Wake up to a leisure breakfast. A personal driver will transfer you to the airport. You may want more time in Snowdonia or perhaps you would like an earlier flight back to Cardiff to explore the capital. The hotel will be within easy access to the airport for tomorrows departure.
