Day 1: Upon arrival at Barcelona airport, take the train the Lleida station 2 hours away. A private driver will greet and transfer you to the lodge, a glorious setting for a fishing expedition. Located in an 8th-century village surrounded by wilderness, this 300-year old building is one of the most ancient fishing lodges in the Spanish territory. A charming haute cuisine restaurant and hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees where a family gathering feel prevails – log fires and communal dinners are complemented by an impeccable wine list carefully chosen by Salvelinus’ wine experts. Enjoy dinner at the lodge’s dining room, a 17th-century fonda.

Aside from exceptional fly fishing, there are a wide range of activities to choose from. Take a relaxing walk through a National Park explore fascinating stories around local castles and monasteries, visit century-old wineries and delight your palate with an assortment of award-winning wines paired with traditional Spanish tapas.

Day 2: After breakfast, your guide will escort you to Posets Maladeta Park. Today is fly fishing for Zebra trout in freestone streams. Lunch will be served in a 10th- century monastery by the river. In the afternoon, return to the lodge to relax and have dinner.

Day 3: Today takes you to the Guara mountains to fly fish in a remote gorge. Lunch will be served in a local family owned restaurant.

Day 4: Today, experience a wine tour at the foothills of the Pyrenees. You will be privy to a traditional menu in one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Return in the late afternoon for dinner at the lodge.

Day 5: Todays itinerary is fly fishing for rainbows and browns in a tucked away area of Catalonia. Lunch is barbecue by the river

Day 6: Today, fly fish for Atlantic browns in a freestone stream. Experience an open-air lunch near a monastery. With its heavenly natural setting and sacred pilgrimage sites, the Pyrenees is a soul-inspiring place.

Day 7: Today travel a Romanesque route with wine tasting in a secluded winery. Get ready to experience a gastronomic experience in a 10th-century monastery.
