Day 1: After arriving at the Venice airport, transfer by motorboat or train to a three star hotel for the next two evenings. Located in Santa Croce, access to shops & restaurants is convenient. Stroll the squares and cross the iconic bridges.
Day 2: Hopefully you are caught up on rest. Enjoy the first Italian breakfast of vacation. Get ready for a full day of wonderful Venice. Ferry schedules and suggestions for daily itineraries will be provided. The colorful islands of Burano and Murano are worthy of a visit. Don’t forget the camera!
Day 3: Today takes you to the Tuscan town of Arezzo, located 3.5 hours away by train. Pick up your rental car in Arezzo at the rental company conveniently located close by. Having your own car is beneficial in Tuscany in order to explore the hidden gems of the area. The driving itinerary provided is easy and never includes driving in a congested European city. For the next two evenings, your room has a private balcony which overlooks the entire medieval village. The night scenery is truly magical.



Day 4 & 5: Good morning Tuscany! Have breakfast and then stroll the streets of the village. An itinerary of local scenic & historic drives (including the birthplace of Michelangelo) as well as a schedule of the regions local weekly markets will be provided. During the next two days take spectacular day drives in the Tuscan countryside. Perhaps select optional activities such as horseback riding or wine and food tours.
In the afternoon, return the car to the rental agency in Arezzo and board the train to the Tuscan capital. Florence, a city filled with historical relics and artistic masterpieces by the greatest masters of the Renaissance awaits you. Accommodations for the next three evenings are centrally located in historic Florence in a charming hotel.

Day 6 & 7: Florence is a city that can easily be explored on foot. A private guide will meet you at the hotel for a four hour tour of Cathedral Square, Signoria Square, Ponte Vecchio (old bridge), church of Santa Croce and Galleria del’ Accademia where one stands in awe of the great statue of David. Immerse yourself in the culture, experience the Italian cuisine and shop the open air markets.







Day 8: Today say good-bye to lovely Florence as a personal driver escorts you to the airport for your flight home.
